Description
Fluke FI-7000 FiberInspector Repair and Calibration
The Fluke Networks FI-7000 FiberInspector Pro is a handheld fiber-optic connector inspection camera — it captures a magnified image of a fiber endface and automatically grades it pass/fail against IEC cleanliness standards, for fiber installers and technicians. As a field-carried optical-inspection instrument, its faults concentrate in the imaging camera/optics, the probe interface, the touchscreen, and the battery.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Fluke FI-7000 for fiber installers and network test teams.
Common Fluke FI-7000 problems we fix
- Reference drift / grading errors — the auto pass/fail grading drifting outside specifications, recalibrated so endface grading is accurate.
- Imaging / focus faults — a blurry or dark endface image from camera/optics faults, repaired.
- Probe-interface faults — the inspection probe not connecting or imaging, repaired.
- Touchscreen or display faults — repaired.
- Won’t power on or hold a charge — battery/power faults.
