Status: Current Production
Overview
Fluke loop calibrators are compact, single-function instruments for sourcing, simulating, and measuring 4–20 mA current loops. The 705 provides basic mA sourcing and measurement. The 707 adds 0.015% accuracy and a 1–5 V range. The 709/709H adds HART communication for smart transmitter configuration and diagnostic readings. The 707Ex is rated intrinsically safe for hazardous environments.

Common Fluke Loop Calibrators Failures We Repair
- mA source output drift from aging precision components
- Test lead jack contact wear causing intermittent connections
- Battery compartment corrosion from field moisture exposure
- HART modem communication degradation on 709/709H models
- Display contrast loss on older units
Our technicians perform component-level diagnostics on every Fluke Loop Calibrators unit. We don’t just replace boards — we identify and repair the specific failed components, saving you the cost of full module replacements when possible.
Calibration
Every Fluke Loop Calibrators repair includes NIST-traceable calibration. We verify all primary output and measurement functions against our reference standards and provide a detailed calibration certificate documenting measured performance against the manufacturer’s published specifications.
Who Uses the Fluke Loop Calibrators?
