Description

Fluke 52 II Calibration

The Fluke 52 II is a contact thermometer, where the calibration has two independent parts: the instrument’s own measurement accuracy and its cold-junction compensation. The second is the one that produces errors which change with the ambient temperature of the room, which is what makes them so easy to misread as random.

June Company’s technicians calibrate the Fluke 52 II for process technicians, HVAC contractors, food safety teams, and quality departments. Every point is measured against reference standards, with as-found readings recorded before any adjustment and as-left readings afterwards, so you can see what condition the instrument was actually in when it arrived.

What we verify on the Fluke 52 II

  • Each supported thermocouple or RTD type independently.
  • Cold-junction compensation across ambient conditions – the source of errors that shift as the room warms through the day.
  • Measurement accuracy at multiple points across each range.
  • Differential and dual-input readings where fitted.
  • Input jack and connector integrity.

FAQs

Can it be adjusted if it has drifted? Where the instrument supports adjustment, yes – and the as-found and as-left readings are both recorded so the change is visible.

Do I get as-found data, or only the final result? Both. As-found readings are recorded before any adjustment and as-left afterwards, which is what tells you whether the instrument was in tolerance during the work you already did with it.

Calibration is documented and returned with the instrument. If we find a fault that calibration cannot correct, we quote the repair before going any further. Email us or submit a service request.
