Description
Fluke LRAT-2000 Calibration
The Fluke LRAT-2000 is a network test instrument. Verification covers the measurements it reports – link, wiremap, distance, PoE – and the physical test port those measurements pass through, since a worn port produces intermittent results that look like network faults.
The Fluke LRAT-2000 is calibrated at June Company for network technicians, IT support teams, low-voltage contractors, and field service engineers. Every point is measured against reference standards, with as-found readings recorded before any adjustment and as-left readings afterwards, so you can see what condition the instrument was actually in when it arrived.
What we verify on the Fluke LRAT-2000
- Cable length and distance-to-fault accuracy.
- PoE detection and power measurement where fitted.
- Link speed and duplex negotiation.
- Test port condition and contact integrity.
- Tone generation and tracing functions.
- Wiremap and pair identification.
FAQs
What if you find a fault during calibration? We stop and quote. There is no point adjusting an instrument that has a hardware fault, so you decide before any repair work begins.
How long does calibration take? Most are completed in 5-10 business days. If we find a fault that calibration cannot correct, we quote the repair before doing anything further.
Calibration is documented and returned with the instrument. If we find a fault that calibration cannot correct, we quote the repair before going any further. Email us or submit a service request.
