Description
Fluke 5520A Calibrator Repair
The Fluke 5520A is a multiproduct calibrator — a flagship metrology-grade source that generates precise voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature (RTD/thermocouple), and more to calibrate a wide range of meters and instruments in a cal lab. As a precision multi-function source, its faults concentrate in the internal reference, the source/output stages, and the range/function switching.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Fluke 5520A for calibration labs and metrology teams.
Common Fluke 5520A problems we fix
- Reference / output drift — the reference or an output stage drifting, which compromises every cal it performs, recalibrated against standards.
- A function out of spec — a specific output (V, I, R, C, etc.) drifting, repaired and recalibrated.
- Range / function switching faults — the output routing/relays, restored.
- A function dead — an output path failed, often after a miswire, repaired.
- Communication or display faults.
FAQs
My 5520A output drifted on one function — fixable? Yes. Reference and output-stage faults are repairable, then the calibrator is recalibrated so its outputs are accurate and the instruments you calibrate from it are trustworthy, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Are all functions verified? Yes — each output function is checked against our standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
