Description
Chroma 63310A Load Module Repair and Calibration
The Chroma 63310A is a high-power programmable DC electronic load module — it plugs into a Chroma load mainframe and sinks high programmable current and power to test power supplies, batteries, and fuel cells in CC, CV, CR, and CP modes. Its character is high-current sinking, so faults concentrate in the load (sink) stage, mode control, and measurement.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Chroma 63310A load module for power and battery test teams.
Common Chroma 63310A problems we fix
- Won’t sink rated current/power — load-stage (power MOSFET) failure on a high-power module, repaired so it sinks full rated load.
- A mode (CC/CV/CR/CP) not working — mode-control faults, repaired.
- Dynamic/transient response off — the fast-slew circuitry, restored.
- Readback inaccurate — measurement drift, recalibrated.
- Module won’t communicate with the mainframe — interface faults.
FAQs
My high-power load module won’t pull current — fixable? Yes. Load-stage faults are repairable, then verified so the module sinks full rated current and power in every mode, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Are all modes verified? Yes — CC, CV, CR, and CP are checked against our standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
