Description
Fluke A3000 Calibration
The Fluke A3000 is a current measurement accessory rather than a standalone instrument. Its accuracy is inherited by whatever it is connected to, and it has no display of its own to warn anyone when it has drifted – which is exactly why it needs calibrating on its own schedule.
June Company calibrates the Fluke A3000 for calibration laboratories, power measurement teams, and test engineering departments. Every point is measured against reference standards, with as-found readings recorded before any adjustment and as-left readings afterwards, so you can see what condition the instrument was actually in when it arrived.
What we verify on the Fluke A3000
- Connector and cable condition.
- Ratio accuracy across the measurement range.
- Phase error at working frequencies.
- Frequency response across bandwidth.
- Output loading and burden.
FAQs
Do I get as-found data, or only the final result? Both. As-found readings are recorded before any adjustment and as-left afterwards, which is what tells you whether the instrument was in tolerance during the work you already did with it.
What happens if it comes back out of tolerance? We record the as-found condition and tell you, because measurements you took with it since its last calibration may need reviewing. That is the reason as-found data matters.
Calibration is documented and returned with the instrument. If we find a fault that calibration cannot correct, we quote the repair before going any further. Email us or submit a service request.
Shipping & Returns
Packing your equipment. You are responsible for packaging equipment adequately for transit. We strongly recommend the original manufacturer’s case, or double-boxing with at least two inches of shock-absorbing material on all six sides. We return your equipment in the packaging it arrived in, so please send it in packaging that will survive the return trip as well. If your packaging is damaged or inadequate for the return, we will substitute suitable packaging and may charge the cost of materials.
Insurance. Equipment is not insured by June Company while in transit. We strongly recommend insuring your shipment for its full replacement value.
Risk of loss. Risk of loss remains with you until your equipment is received at our facility, and transfers back to you when your repaired unit is delivered to the carrier (F.O.B. shipping point). June Company is not responsible for equipment lost, delayed, misdelivered, or damaged in transit, in either direction.
Return label. A prepaid and preprinted return shipping label should be included with your shipment. If one is not included, we will provide one.
Transit damage. Damage occurring in transit is the responsibility of the carrier. It is not a warranty defect and is not covered by the 90-day repair warranty. Any claim must be filed by you with the carrier; we will supply photographs and documentation to support it at no charge.
