Fluke 9171-E-156 Dry-Well Calibrator Repair
The Fluke 9171 (Hart Scientific) is a metrology-grade dry-well temperature calibrator — it heats and cools a precision insert block to highly stable, accurate temperatures to calibrate temperature sensors in the lab and field. Its precision depends on the heating/cooling system, the temperature control and reference sensor, and the insert/block, which is where service focuses.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Fluke 9171 for field-calibration and process-instrument teams.
Common Fluke 9171 problems we fix
- Temperature-controller drift — the controller or reference sensor reading the wrong setpoint, recalibrated against standards.
- Heating/cooling faults — won’t reach or hold the setpoint temperature, the heater/cooling system repaired.
- Stability or uniformity out of spec — control-loop faults, corrected.
- Insert / block faults — a worn or damaged insert bore, addressed.
- Display or interface faults.
FAQs
My 9171 won’t hold temperature or reads off — fixable? Yes. Controller and heating/cooling faults are repairable, then the control is recalibrated so block temperature is accurate and stable, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Is stability verified? Yes — verified against our reference standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
