Description
Fluke 393 FC Clamp Meter Repair and Calibration
The Fluke 393 FC is a CAT III 1500 V true-RMS clamp meter built for solar/PV work — it safely measures the high DC voltages and currents of photovoltaic systems, with a built-in PV power and irradiance function and wireless connectivity. Its accuracy depends on the current-sensing jaw and the high-voltage DC measurement circuitry, which is where service and calibration focus.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Fluke 393 FC for solar/PV installers and electrical technicians.
Common Fluke 393 problems we fix
- Reference drift outside specifications — measurement-circuit/reference drift skewing readings, recalibrated against standards.
- Current readings inaccurate — current-sensing jaw or measurement drift, recalibrated.
- High-voltage DC measurement off — the PV voltage-measurement path, repaired.
- Clamp jaw or display faults — jaw mechanism or display, repaired.
- Won’t power on or connect — battery/power or FC wireless faults.
FAQs
My 393 readings drifted out of spec — fixable? Yes. Reference and measurement drift is repairable and recalibrated, then verified so DC voltage and current read accurately for PV work, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Do you calibrate all functions? Yes — current, voltage, and PV functions are checked against our standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
