Fluke 9172-D-156 Dry-Well Calibrator Repair
The Fluke 9172 (Hart Scientific) is a metrology-grade dry-well temperature calibrator — it heats and cools a precision insert block to highly stable, accurate temperatures to calibrate temperature sensors in the lab and field. Its precision depends on the heating/cooling system, the temperature control and reference sensor, and the insert/block, which is where service focuses.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Fluke 9172 for calibration labs and metrology teams.
Common Fluke 9172 problems we fix
- Heating/cooling element replacement — won’t reach or hold the setpoint temperature, the heater/cooling element replaced.
- Temperature-controller drift — the controller or reference sensor reading the wrong setpoint, recalibrated against standards.
- Stability or uniformity out of spec — control-loop faults, corrected.
- Insert / block faults — a worn or damaged insert bore, addressed.
- Display or interface faults.
FAQs
My 9172 won’t reach or hold temperature — fixable? Yes. Heating/cooling and controller faults are repairable, then the control is recalibrated so block temperature is accurate and stable, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Is stability verified? Yes — verified against our reference standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
