Description
Fluke OPTIFIBER PRO Calibration
The Fluke OPTIFIBER PRO is a fiber optic test set, where the calibration has to cover the optical side as well as the electronics. Power measurement accuracy is wavelength-dependent, so a meter correct at 1310 nm can be out at 1550 nm, and a single-wavelength check would never reveal it.
June Company’s technicians calibrate the Fluke OPTIFIBER PRO for fiber optic installers, network engineers, data centre technicians, and telecommunications crews. Every point is measured against reference standards, with as-found readings recorded before any adjustment and as-left readings afterwards, so you can see what condition the instrument was actually in when it arrived.
What we verify on the Fluke OPTIFIBER PRO
- Source output power and stability.
- Loss measurement and referencing.
- OTDR distance and event-location accuracy where fitted.
- Optical connector endface condition.
- Adapter and launch cord condition.
- Optical power measurement at each supported wavelength – accuracy is wavelength-specific and does not transfer between them.
FAQs
How long does calibration take? Most are completed in 5-10 business days. If we find a fault that calibration cannot correct, we quote the repair before doing anything further.
Is the calibration traceable? Yes. Every point is measured against reference standards and the results are documented and returned with the instrument.
Calibration is documented and returned with the instrument. If we find a fault that calibration cannot correct, we quote the repair before going any further. Email us or submit a service request.
