Description
Keysight M8195S Waveform Generator Repair
The Keysight M8195S is a high-speed arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) — it generates very-high-bandwidth, multi-channel arbitrary waveforms (sample rates to ~65 GSa/s) for high-speed serial, coherent-optical, and wideband RF test. As a precision high-speed source, its faults concentrate in the DAC/output stage, the clock/synthesizer, and the channel calibration.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Keysight M8195S for high-speed digital, optical, and RF test teams.
Common Keysight M8195S problems we fix
- Synthesizer / clock faults — sample-clock drift or unlock that corrupts output timing, repaired and recalibrated.
- Output-level recalibration — channel amplitude drift, recalibrated against standards.
- A channel dead or distorted — DAC/output-stage failure on a channel, repaired.
- Modulation / waveform faults — the waveform-generation path, restored.
- Interface or control faults.
FAQs
My M8195S output is distorted or a channel is dead — fixable? Yes. DAC/output and clock faults are repairable, then channels are recalibrated so high-speed waveforms are clean and accurate, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Is the output level verified? Yes — amplitude and timing are checked against our standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
