Description
Megger Teleflex SX Reflectometer Repair
The Megger Teleflex SX is a time domain reflectometer system for cable fault prelocation — it sends pulses (and supports arc-reflection/ICE methods with a surge source) to locate and measure faults on power cable. As a measurement-and-display system, its faults concentrate in the pulse transmitter, the receiver/measurement path, and the display, plus the connections to companion surge gear.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Megger Teleflex SX for utility fault crews and cable contractors.
Common Megger Teleflex SX problems we fix
- Weak or no trace — pulse-transmitter degradation, repaired so reflections are clean and faults prelocate.
- Arc-reflection method not working — the interface/timing with the surge source for ARM/ICE, restored.
- Can’t resolve distant or small faults — receiver sensitivity loss, recalibrated.
- Distance readings off — timing/velocity-factor drift, corrected.
- Display or power faults.
FAQs
My Teleflex trace is weak or won’t do arc-reflection — fixable? Yes. Transmitter, receiver, and arc-reflection-interface faults are repairable, then verified against our standards so it prelocates faults reliably, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Is distance accuracy recalibrated? Yes — verified with documented results.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
