Description
Keysight M9805A Vector Network Analyzer Repair
The Keysight M9805A is a PXVNA modular vector network analyzer — a high-performance PXIe VNA (to ~32 GHz) that installs in a PXI chassis for S-parameter measurement in integrated and production test systems. As a precision microwave instrument, its faults concentrate in the source and receiver chains, the test ports, the synthesizer/reference, and the PXIe/control interface.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Keysight M9805A for RF/microwave manufacturing and integrated-test teams.
Common Keysight M9805A problems we fix
- Source power-leveling errors — the source not delivering correct stimulus power, recalibrated against standards.
- Receiver calibration drift — receiver degradation skewing S-parameters, repaired and recalibrated.
- Test-port damage — a damaged port from overpower or connector wear, repaired.
- PXIe / control-interface faults — the module not initializing in the chassis, restored.
- Calibration won’t hold — directivity/match faults, tracked down.
FAQs
My M9805A source level or receiver is off — fixable? Yes. Source-leveling and receiver faults are repairable and recalibrated, then verified so S-parameter measurement is stable and accurate, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Are the ports serviceable? Yes — port repair is routine.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
