Description
Megger NIM1000 Impedance Meter Repair
The Megger NIM1000 is a neutral-integrity / line-impedance meter — it measures the impedance and integrity of the neutral and earth path on distribution networks to find high-resistance neutral connections before they cause problems. As a field-carried measurement instrument, its faults concentrate in the measurement front-end, the test connections, the display, and the battery.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Megger NIM1000 for distribution and utility field crews.
Common Megger NIM1000 problems we fix
- Display failures — blank, dim, or erratic display, repaired.
- Battery degradation — won’t power on or hold a charge, the battery serviced.
- Impedance-measurement out of spec — measurement front-end drift, recalibrated against standards.
- Test-connection faults — the measurement leads/connections, serviced.
- Interface or control faults.
FAQs
My NIM1000 display or readings are off — fixable? Yes. Display, battery, and measurement faults are repairable, then the meter is recalibrated so impedance readings are accurate, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Can you replace the battery? Yes — battery service is routine.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
