Overview
The HVI HPA Series provides high-power AC hipot testing for electrical apparatus requiring power-frequency withstand verification. HPA testers deliver continuously variable AC output from 10 kVAC to 100 kVAC with current capacity sufficient for testing cables, transformers, and switchgear assemblies. The FC suffix indicates full-cycle control for precise output regulation. The ABT (AC Breakdown Tester) Series provides AC dielectric breakdown testing with combined metering. ABT testers are used to determine the AC breakdown voltage of insulating materials and oil samples in addition to standard withstand testing.
