Overview
The HVI ALT Series aerial lift testers perform dielectric withstand testing on bucket trucks, aerial lifts, and digger derricks per ANSI A92.2 and OSHA 1910.67 requirements. These instruments verify that the insulating boom and upper controls of aerial work platforms maintain adequate dielectric strength to protect line workers from electrocution. The ALT-120 tests to 120 kVDC, the ALT-200 tests to 200 kVDC, and the ALT-300F tests to 300 kVDC with filtered output. Regular aerial lift dielectric testing is mandated by OSHA for any bucket truck used near energized power lines.
