Overview
The HVI DBT Series DC hipot testers provide digitally controlled high-voltage DC output for precision dielectric withstand testing. The DBT platform offers enhanced metering accuracy, programmable test sequences, and data logging compared to the analog PTS series. Voltage ratings range from 37.5 kVDC to 600 kVDC. F-suffix models include additional output filtration. DBT testers are used for acceptance testing, maintenance testing, and fault location on cables, transformers, switchgear, and rotating machinery.
