Rigaku Icon-X Raman Analyzer Repair

The Icon-X is Rigaku’s fourth-generation 1064 nm handheld Raman analyzer, released in 2025, and the first 1064 nm handheld to offer standoff chemical analysis so operators can interrogate a suspect substance from a safe distance. It carries an onboard library of over 13,000 items spanning narcotics, explosives, toxic industrial chemicals and chemical warfare agents, scans through translucent packaging without fluorescence trouble, and adds an illuminated keypad, a larger touchscreen and optional GPS for fleet recordkeeping. Sealed handhelds like this are harder to service than benchtop equivalents precisely because everything is packed tightly into a rugged housing, which is why component-level diagnosis matters more here than swapping assemblies.
