Description
Phenix Technologies 610-10P Hipot Tester Repair
The Phenix 610-10P is an AC/DC dielectric (hipot) test set with partial-discharge capability — it applies high voltage and measures leakage current to withstand-test insulation, with the “P” denoting partial-discharge detection for finding incipient insulation defects. It combines an HV source, precision leakage metering, and sensitive PD detection, so faults can appear across all three.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Phenix 610-10P for HV test labs and apparatus manufacturers.
Common Phenix 610-10P problems we fix
- Partial-discharge detection faults — the sensitive PD measurement losing sensitivity, repaired so incipient defects are detected.
- Won’t reach test voltage or unstable — HV output-stage failure, rebuilt for stable rated output.
- Leakage-current reading off — the metering your pass/fail depends on, recalibrated.
- Internal HV arcing or leakage — insulation breakdown from stress.
- Interlock or control faults.
FAQs
My PD measurement isn’t picking up activity — fixable? Yes. PD detection is the most sensitive function here; we repair and recalibrate it so partial-discharge results are reliable, alongside the HV and leakage sides, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Are all functions verified? Yes — HV output, leakage, and PD are all checked.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
