Status: Current Production
Overview
The Phenix Technologies 4-Series DC hipot testers provide precision high-voltage DC output for cable testing, transformer insulation testing, and general DC withstand applications. Model numbering indicates output voltage (in kV) and output current (in mA). The 440-20 delivers 40 kVDC at 20 mA, while the 4120-10 provides 120 kVDC at 10 mA. All models feature continuously variable output, precision voltage and leakage current metering, guard terminal for accurate measurements, and portable configurations. These testers are used for acceptance testing, maintenance testing, and step-voltage diagnostic testing per IEEE and NETA standards.
