Description
Chroma 19070 Hipot Tester Repair
The Chroma 19070 is an electrical safety / hipot analyzer — it performs AC/DC withstand (hipot) and insulation-resistance testing with arc detection for production safety compliance, applying high voltage and measuring leakage to pass/fail products. It combines an HV source with precision leakage metering and arc detection, so faults span the HV output and the measurement side.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Chroma 19070 for production safety-test and QC teams.
Common Chroma 19070 problems we fix
- Insulation-resistance function faulty — the IR measurement out of spec, recalibrated against standards.
- Arc-detection faults — false or missed arc detection, the detection circuit repaired and verified.
- Won’t reach test voltage or unstable — HV output-stage failure, rebuilt for stable rated output.
- Leakage-current reading off — the metering your pass/fail depends on, recalibrated.
- Interlock or control faults.
FAQs
My 19070 arc detection misfires — fixable? Yes. The arc-detection and leakage-measurement circuits are repairable and recalibrated so pass/fail and arc detection are accurate, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Are all functions verified? Yes — hipot, IR, and arc detection are checked against our standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
