Description
Rohde & Schwarz RTA4000 Oscilloscope Repair
The Rohde & Schwarz RTA4000 is a benchtop oscilloscope (to ~1 GHz) — a 4-channel scope with a high-resolution ADC, deep memory, and a large touchscreen for embedded, power, and general design/debug. As a precision acquisition instrument, its faults concentrate in the analog front-end, the ADC/acquisition system, the trigger, and the touchscreen.
June Company repairs and calibrates the R&S RTA4000 for embedded, power, and test engineers.
Common R&S RTA4000 problems we fix
- Probe-compensation drift — the front-end compensation drifting so traces are distorted, repaired and recalibrated.
- A channel dead, noisy, or inaccurate — analog front-end damage from overload, repaired.
- Touchscreen unresponsive — the capacitive touch panel, repaired.
- Trigger or acquisition faults — unstable triggering or bad captures, corrected.
- Won’t boot or powers off — power/board faults.
FAQs
My RTA4000 traces look distorted or a channel is off — fixable? Yes. Front-end and acquisition faults are repairable, then the scope is recalibrated so vertical accuracy and bandwidth are restored, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Is the touchscreen repairable? Yes — touch panel repair is routine.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
