Description
Chroma 19305 Impulse Winding Tester Repair
The Chroma 19305 is an impulse winding tester — it applies a high-voltage impulse to a motor, transformer, or coil winding and compares the resulting ringing waveform against a reference to detect layer-short and insulation faults in winding production and QC. It combines a high-voltage impulse source with precision waveform capture and comparison, so faults span the impulse-generation side and the measurement/comparison side.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Chroma 19305 for motor, transformer, and coil winding QC teams.
Common Chroma 19305 problems we fix
- Impulse-generation faults — won’t produce the correct test impulse voltage, repaired so the test stresses the winding correctly.
- Waveform-capture / comparison faults — the measurement that compares against the reference not working, repaired.
- Pass/fail judgment errors — the comparison thresholds or measurement drift, recalibrated against standards.
- Test-fixture / connection faults — the winding connections, serviced.
- Display or interface faults.
FAQs
My 19305 pass/fail results look wrong — fixable? Yes. Impulse-generation and waveform-comparison faults are repairable, then recalibrated so layer-short detection is accurate, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Is the impulse output verified? Yes — checked against our standards along with the measurement.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
