Description
SMC TriRaptor 3MS Primary Injection Repair
The EuroSMC TriRaptor 3MS is a three-phase primary injection test system — it sources very high current (thousands of amps) directly into circuit breakers, CTs, and switchgear to verify their primary-side operation and trip characteristics. As a high-current source, its faults concentrate in the high-current output stage/transformers, the control and regulation, the timing/measurement, and the connections.
June Company repairs and calibrates the SMC TriRaptor 3MS for switchgear, breaker, and substation test teams.
Common SMC TriRaptor 3MS problems we fix
- High-current output faults — won’t reach or hold rated injection current, the output stage/transformers repaired.
- Timing / measurement drift — the trip-timing and current measurement drifting, recalibrated against standards.
- Regulation / control faults — the current not regulating to setpoint, corrected.
- A phase weak or dead — per-phase output faults, repaired.
- Connection, interlock, or interface faults.
FAQs
My TriRaptor 3MS won’t reach injection current — fixable? Yes. High-current output and regulation faults are repairable, then current and timing are recalibrated so primary-injection results are accurate, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Is the current measurement verified? Yes — current and timing are checked against our standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
