Description
Rohde & Schwarz FSW43 Spectrum Analyzer Repair
The Rohde & Schwarz FSW43 is a high-end signal and spectrum analyzer covering up to 43.5 GHz — a top-tier bench analyzer with wide analysis bandwidth and very low phase noise for demanding microwave, radar, and wideband signal work. As a precision microwave receiver, its faults concentrate in the RF front-end (mixer, attenuator, YIG/LO), the synthesizer, the IF/ADC path, and the display.
June Company repairs and calibrates the R&S FSW43 for microwave, radar, and advanced-signal test teams.
Common R&S FSW43 problems we fix
- Mixer replacement — front-end mixer damage (often from overload) degrading sensitivity and accuracy, replaced.
- YIG-oscillator recalibration — the tuned oscillator drifting or failing, repaired and recalibrated.
- Attenuator faults — the input step attenuator not switching correctly, repaired.
- Amplitude or frequency accuracy off — front-end or synthesizer drift, recalibrated against standards.
- Display or interface faults.
FAQs
My FSW43 sensitivity dropped — fixable? Yes. Mixer, YIG, and attenuator faults are repairable and recalibrated, then verified so amplitude and frequency accuracy are restored across the range, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Is it calibrated across its range? Yes — verified against our reference standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
Shipping & Returns
Packing your equipment. You are responsible for packaging equipment adequately for transit. We strongly recommend the original manufacturer’s case, or double-boxing with at least two inches of shock-absorbing material on all six sides.
