The Megger EasyTest 20 kV is a compact and portable Very Low Frequency (VLF) cable test system designed for verifying the operational integrity of medium-voltage cables. It offers configurable test sequences, AC/DC and sheath testing capabilities, and supports data logging via USB or Winkis chip card. With an output voltage of 20 kV and 0.1 Hz AC at 0.5 μF (up to 2.5 μF at 0.02 Hz), it can test 20 kV cables up to 2 km in length at 0.1 Hz with a test voltage of 1.7 Uo. The system also includes a DC voltage module with leakage current measurement for testing PVC and PILC cables, as well as a sheath testing function and pulsed-output voltage for sheath fault pinpointing.
