Overview

The Vitrek V7x Series extends hipot testing capability to voltages far beyond standard production safety analyzers, reaching up to 10 kVAC and 12 kVDC. These instruments are designed for testing high-voltage components, assemblies, and equipment that require withstand voltages above the 5–6 kV range of typical compliance analyzers. The V70 provides basic AC/DC hipot, while higher models add insulation resistance (V71), ground bond (V73), and combined functions. The V73-OB adds an open/short bond check function. The V74 adds line leakage current measurement. The V76 through V79 provide progressively more comprehensive test function combinations. All V7x models feature programmable test sequences and automation interfaces.
