Phenix Technologies 615-20P Dielectric Test Set Repair
The Phenix 615-20P is an AC/DC dielectric test set with partial-discharge capability — a 20 kV-class hipot that applies high voltage, measures leakage current, and (the “P”) detects partial discharge to find incipient insulation defects before they become failures. It combines an HV source, leakage metering, and sensitive PD detection, so faults can appear across all three.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Phenix 615-20P for HV test labs and apparatus manufacturers.
Common Phenix 615-20P problems we fix
- HV output-stage rebuilds — won’t reach voltage or output collapses, rebuilt for stable rated output.
- Voltage-regulation recalibration — output drifting off setpoint, corrected.
- Leakage-current measurement off — the metering your pass/fail depends on, recalibrated.
- Partial-discharge detection faults — the sensitive PD measurement, repaired so incipient defects are detected.
- Internal HV arcing or interlock faults.
FAQs
My PD detection isn’t working — fixable? Yes. PD detection is the most sensitive function here; we repair and recalibrate it so partial-discharge results are reliable, alongside the HV and leakage sides, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Are all functions verified? Yes — HV output, leakage, and PD are all checked.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
