Description
HVI ALT-300F Aerial Lift Tester Repair
The HVI (High Voltage Inc.) ALT-300F is an aerial-lift (bucket truck) dielectric test set — it applies high AC voltage to verify the insulating integrity of aerial-device booms, liners, and equipment per ANSI standards, measuring leakage current to pass/fail the lift’s insulation. It combines an HV source with leakage metering and control, so faults span the HV side and the measurement/control side.
June Company repairs and calibrates the HVI ALT-300F for utility fleet, line-truck, and dielectric-test teams.
Common HVI ALT-300F problems we fix
- Control-panel malfunctions — controls or metering not responding correctly, repaired.
- HV won’t reach test voltage or unstable — HV output-stage/transformer failure, repaired for stable rated output.
- Leakage-current measurement off — the metering your pass/fail depends on, recalibrated against standards.
- Internal HV arcing or interlock faults — insulation breakdown or interlock issues, repaired for safe operation.
- Display or connection faults.
FAQs
My ALT-300F control panel or HV is acting up — fixable? Yes. Control and HV faults are repairable, then the leakage metering is recalibrated so your dielectric pass/fail results are accurate, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Is the test voltage verified? Yes — HV output is checked along with the metering.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
