Description
Chroma 63110A DC Load Repair and Calibration
The Chroma 63110A is a programmable DC electronic load — it sinks programmable current and power to test power supplies, batteries, and sources, operating in constant-current, constant-voltage, constant-resistance, and constant-power modes. Its character is precise high-current sinking with fast dynamic response, so faults concentrate in the load (sink) stage, the mode-control circuitry, and measurement.
June Company repairs and calibrates the Chroma 63110A for power-supply and battery test teams.
Common Chroma 63110A problems we fix
- Won’t sink rated current — load-stage (power MOSFET) failure, the defining DC-load fault, repaired so it sinks full rated current and power.
- A mode (CC/CV/CR/CP) not working — mode-control circuitry faults, repaired and verified.
- Dynamic/transient response off — the fast-slew circuitry, restored.
- Readback inaccurate — voltage/current measurement drift, recalibrated.
- Programming or fan faults.
FAQs
My load won’t pull rated current — fixable? Yes. Load-stage faults are repairable, then verified so it sinks full rated current and power in every mode, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Are all the load modes verified? Yes — CC, CV, CR, and CP are checked against our standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or submit a service request.
